It snowed like cotton dropping from the sky, on a calm Sunday afternoon. We were wandering around the city with, otherwise considered holy, carelessness. It was cold, heads couldn’t get up, and we were staring the road like a groom stares his bride, right after she enters the wedding hall. As we were staring the earth poll said like an old lady speaks on her death bed, “How can the weather be so cruel to us?” I replied by shouting, “What?” He raised his voice and repeated his words. “How can the weather be so cruel to us?” The guy next to me laughed, our friend, jani, is a born sarcastic. He asked him. “Are you drunk dude?” he replied “NO.” The proud follower of sarcasm replied with an evil smile on his face, “Don’t you think this is a question one shall ask the mighty and sometimes extreme God?”
That was the cue for me to jump into the conversation and present the one and only reservation I had for the all giving and forgiving God. ‘’if there is a God and he named himself: the all provider then how come infants and children are dying from malnutrition in Africa? If everything is written, before we were even born, by the God: how come then he declares to have given free-will to humanity?” I said with an authoritative voice.
Poll silent as a wolf in a moonless night. I kept on thinking about humans. We all have different mentalities, we all see things through different perceptions, but still we act according to the society. The main question which confused me the most was, some people show themselves pretty easily, you can judge their personality in five minutes. Some act as mountains, no matter what you do they remain the same, the same act, and the same character. It is as if to solve a riddle, to get to know them.
In my opinion only time reveals their true identity.
